Recently I had the pleasure of talking with Debbie Fordree about what the pandemic revealed, mediation and collaborative divorce, whether this is a liminal time, practices which reduce polarization, and our vision for the future. You can listen to our conversation on Phase Shift, my podcast.
Debbie has been practicing law since 1993 and has been a mediator since 2016. Her areas of concentration are estate planning, probate, mediation, and collaborative divorce. She offers limited scope representation to make legal services affordable.
Her philosophy and focus in her law practice is to improve the lives of those she helps and those around them through her work. Providing collaborative services, which allow couples to maintain their dignity and to reach a resolution in the most amicable manner possible, promotes those values.
Her clients naturally benefit from her interests in leading NVC (Nonviolent Communication/Compassionate Communication) practice group twice monthly and her longstanding regular yoga and meditation practice. Those who work with her can take comfort in knowing that they are being served well.
Debbie enjoys spending time with family and friends, yoga and gardening.
